Likes and followers do different jobs

Followers change how your profile reads; likes change how one post reads. A strong Reel with 14 likes looks overlooked, and people are slower to stop for it. If your follower count is already fine but posts look quiet, likes are the cheaper fix. If both look thin, a small follower bundle plus likes on your best post is better than a big bundle of either. Keep the numbers believable

An account with 300 followers and 4,000 likes on one photo looks off to anyone paying attention, including brands that check before a collaboration. What likes won’t do
