Guide

Paying from Ireland

Everything is priced and charged in euro. Here’s what you can pay with, what isn’t offered, and what appears on your statement.

What you can pay with

  • Debit or credit card: Visa and Mastercard, including the cards issued by Irish banks and by app-based banks.
  • Apple Pay on iPhone, iPad or Mac.
  • Google Pay on Android or in Chrome.

Payment happens on a secure hosted checkout page. Your card details go straight to it and never reach us.

What isn’t offered

Revolut Pay and bank transfer are not available, and nor are cash, cheques or other online wallets. If you bank with Revolut, its Visa or Mastercard card is paid like any other card, either directly or through Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Currency

Prices are in euro and you’re charged in euro, so an Irish card pays exactly the amount shown. If your card is in sterling or another currency, your bank converts it and may add its own fee; that’s between you and your bank.

What you’ll see on your statement

The charge appears under the payment provider’s descriptor rather than the full shop name. Your emailed receipt and your ord_ reference match it to your order. If anything on your statement is unclear, email us and we’ll confirm.

One payment, nothing recurring

There are no subscriptions. Each order is paid once, and nothing is taken later. If you want more, you place another order.

Is it safe to pay?

Card payments carry the protections your bank offers, including disputes for services that weren’t delivered. We’d rather you emailed us first, though: most problems are sorted within hours. And we never ask for an Instagram or TikTok password, at checkout or anywhere else.

Ordering for a business

Paying with a company card works exactly the same way. The emailed receipt shows the date, amount and order reference; if you need anything more for your records, ask by email.

If a payment is declined

Most declines are the bank being cautious about an online payment, not a problem with the order. Try again, try Apple Pay or Google Pay instead, or approve the payment in your banking app if it asks. Your basket stays saved on your device in the meantime.
